Karthi, after the success of Meiyazhagan, is now acting as the lead in two projects: Sardar 2, directed by P. S. Mithran, and a movie under Tamizh’s direction, tentatively titled Karthi 29.
Now, there is strong buzz that director Gautham Vasudev Menon has narrated a script to Karthi, and Karthi has given the green signal after the narration.

The story for this script was written by writer Jaya Mohan, and this would be Karthi’s next outing once he completes the shooting of Sardar 2 and Karthi 29.
Following this buzz, some social media users commented that it’s going to be a blockbuster movie if it happens, as it’s one of the fresh collaborations in Kollywood.

At the same time, some people criticized Karthi, saying that since he is now in his prime phase, he should not risk losing momentum by working with an out-of-form director like Gautham Vasudev Menon.
However, there haven’t been any official announcements yet, and it remains to be seen whether this project will move forward in the future.
