In this scenario, yesterday, the Thug Life movie team conducted a press meeting during which Kamal Haasan revealed that Thug Life was based on an old script of his.
He mentioned that Mani Ratnam and he had been in discussions for many scripts, but Mani Ratnam liked his old script and made some changes, incorporating his unique style.
