On Sunday, popular Tamil actor Vishal shocked fans by collapsing on stage during the Miss Koovagam Transgender Beauty Contest in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. He was attending the event as a special guest.
According to reports, Vishal fainted suddenly, prompting quick action from his team and the event organizers, including former minister K. Ponmudy.

He was rushed to a nearby private hospital and received emergency treatment. His condition is stable, though no official medical statement has been released yet.
Vishal’s manager, Hari, said the incident was likely due to him skipping a meal. The scare comes just months after the actor recovered from dengue in January 2025.
