Suriya’s most anticipated movie Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on May 1st. Now, the team has released the first single from the movie, titled Kannadi Poove.
Director Karthik Subbaraj, in one of his recent interviews, revealed that Retro is going to be a romantic-action film and will feature many emotional sequences.

As a confirmation of Karthik Subbaraj’s statement, the Retro team has released the first single, Kannadi Poove, a heart-wrenching melody song, as a Valentine’s Day special.
Kannadi Poove, composed by Santhosh Narayanan (SaNa), is receiving positive responses from the audience, with many stating that the song feels fresh and is an instant addiction, especially with Santhosh Narayanan’s vocals.

Additionally, Suriya’s prisoner looks in the lyrical video of the song is being celebrated by fans on social media, who commented that he looks stunning in a powerful avatar, reminiscent of his role in Rakta Charitra.
