Thug Life’s one-liner is similar to Vikram, as Vikram’s plot revolves around, “A man thought to be dead to the world is actually alive.”

Also, Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed during the release of Vikram that it was Kamal Haasan’s one-liner. Pointing this out, some netizens on social media are commenting that it seems Kamal Haasan gave the same plotline to both Lokesh Kanagaraj and Mani Ratnam, and both made a movie out of it.
