Now, two years later, Jio has decided to revise its unlimited 5G policy that was a part of its monthly and quarterly data plans which was aimed at increasing user adoption of the 5G tech.
The revised plans have stated that Jio will continue to provide the truly unlimited 5G services to its users. Here’s the catch, it will be available to users who have recharged for data plans with 2GB/day and above. It means that users with 1GB and 1.5 GB/day plans will not come with unlimited 5G. The cheapest plan with 5G is priced at ₹349 for 28 days, an increase of ₹50 from the previous pricing list.

5G is indeed an amazing technology. But, the question that users have been asking is the quality of services provided by the telecom companies. Even the 5G in India is slower than 4G in the developed countries with poor download and upload speed, call drops and customer support. It is the need of the hour to better the already existing tech rather than creating substandard newer ones.
