Villa Vie Residences, a high-end cruise line, launched a “Skip Forward” program for Americans wanting to sail away for four years. For around $40,000 (₹33.76 L) annually, passengers can leave the US political scene behind and travel the world.

Mikael Petterson, CEO of the traveling agency, told the media that this campaign was created before the election results and suits anyone tempted to “leave the country if XYZ wins.” The four-year international package costs $159,999 (₹1.35 Cr) for double-occupancy cabins and $255,999 (₹2.16 Cr) for single occupancy.
While the package doesn’t mention Trump by name, its offers are a direct reference to the political events. A two-year package called the “Mid-Term Selection” lets guests travel through the 2026 midterms, providing a similar getaway.

Thus, Democrats who have the means to pay and are deflated with the election result might opt for this. But it’ll be interesting to see if anyone would really want to live four years away from their home because of Trump.
