Countries around the world with a large number of immigrant students are gradually reducing the approval of new student visas. Recently, Australia limited the intake of international students, and now Canada has followed the same route.

To reduce the number of temporary residents in the country, Canada decided to restrict student visas by 35% this year and cut down a further 10% in the next year.

“Immigration is an advantage for our economy – but when bad actors abuse the system and take advantage of students, we crack down,” he further added.
