Christmas Miracle: Indian Man Saves Life in USA

An Indian-origin man in New Jersey played a key role in rescuing a stranded dog on Christmas Eve. The Sheepadoodle named Brooklyn, spent nearly 24 hours stuck on the thin ice of Lake Parsippany, evading several rescue attempts.

Brooklyn had escaped from her dog sitter and wandered onto the frozen lake. While rescuers tried everything, including using chicken to lure her, she remained too scared to approach them.

Krishna Patel, a local Indian-American resident, and a fellow dog owner, came as the savior and helped in the rescue using his drone. He tracked Brooklyn’s movements and even attached a chicken to it, trying to bring her closer to safety.

It went on for hours and as the night fell, Patel’s drone became crucial for keeping an eye on her. “I can imagine what the owner must be going through,” he said, offering assistance to the police.

Finally, Brooklyn came off the frozen surface, ran to the shore, and continued running until she was secured on a porch. Patel’s act of kindness turned out as the best Christmas gift the pet owners could have asked for.
