
An Indian man driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol has ended the lives of 2 teens in the US. While he feels the weight of his actions, there is nothing that can revert this tragic incident.
Amandeep Singh, an Indian-origin construction executive, was sentenced to 25 years for driving at 150 kmph while drunk and high on cocaine. The incident led to the deaths of 2 teenage Tennis players, whose family members and friends denounced him in the court.

He exceeded all limits of carelessness as he was driving the wrong way where the limit was 65 kmph. The police also found his blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit.
“If anyone should have died, it should have been me,” a remorseful Amandeep said in the court, confessing to his crimes. He even addressed the families of the victims and said their anger was completely justified.

This penitent behavior might help him get parole, but he must serve his minimum punishment of 8 years before that is even an option. However, there is nothing that can bring back the two young sportsmen who had a bright future ahead of them.
