A man was caught doing 105 in a 70 zone in Coffee County, Tennessee. It was his first ticket ever, but he’s not worried about the fine; he’s scared it might mess up his H-1B visa.

The cop let him off with a regular speeding charge instead of reckless driving, which should’ve been a relief. But in today’s political climate, even that feels risky.
His H1B got picked this year, but now he’s in constant fear that something drastic would happen if the visa officer digs this up. Will it cause problems during stamping in India? Could he get a 221g or worse, a refusal for this offence?
