Some eyewitnesses told the media that the fight was caused by racial tensions and quickly escalated, involving the parents as well.

One mother said she was traumatized after the violent attack on her son. The grade 11 student might need surgery due to serious injuries to his head, eyes, and nose.

The parents of the victims are outraged, calling it a clear act of racism. Meanwhile, the school has refused to comment on this horrifying incident.

What is more shocking is that the school authorities haven’t even reached out to the students or families to offer any support while they are hospitalized.

Although local media reports that many other students also got injured in the fight, only 3 Indian-origin students are in critical condition. It clearly suggests that this was a targeted attack against those young boys who will never be the same after this incident.
