We have seen how the immigrant crisis is taking a huge toll on the United States of America and its infrastructure but it looks like the USA is not the only country suffering from it. Many European countries are claiming to be suffering from an acute immigration crisis which has resulted in growth of anti-immigrant sentiments. A video has emerged from Portugal in which a man can be seen claiming how the immigrants are colonizing the country.
In the video, the man can be seen walking through a street and calling it Pakistan. He allegedly claimed that the street had only Portuguese shopkeepers and owners around 10 years back but now everything is owned by the immigrants who settled in the region.

He can be heard saying that the country is being colonized by the ‘third world’. He also accused the immigrants for criminal activities and drug trafficking. Such claims are not new and add to the group of theories associated with the Great Replacement theory.
Europe has failed miserably to address the issue of immigration. It needs both skilled and unskilled labor from other countries to sustain but it cannot afford to allow them all. When it comes to Portugal, it is highly ironic that they have a problem with people landing on their shores. Maybe they are not taught their own history thoroughly.
