Donald Trump is confidently proclaiming his victory way before the voting has concluded in the United States. This time he has gone one step further and issued a bold threat to the fraudsters.
On Truth Social, Trump vowed that there will be arrests and prosecutions “on a scale America has never seen before.” This continues his long-withstanding allegations that the 2020 elections were stolen from him by illegal votes and fraud.

The former president continued to blame Democrats for his loss and now he’s promising to punish anyone who “cheats” in the upcoming elections. He labeled the last elections as full of “rampant cheating” and warned that this year’s votes will be monitored closely.
This message is more alarming than his usual social media rants as he promised long prison sentences for lawyers, donors, and election officials involved in the election fraud.

However, this extra aggression might backfire for Trump as some Republicans spoke out against their own candidate. This includes Richard Cheney, former Vice President under George W. Bush, who publicly endorsed Kamala Harris calling Trump a threat to democracy.
With these added threats and early warnings, the 2024 US elections are shaping up to be extremely divisive.
