
Donald Trump’s hard crackdown on illegal immigration is picking up pace with more Indians landing back home in 2 more flights scheduled in the upcoming days.
According to reports, the US has deported another batch of 119 illegal Indians in a flight that will land in Amritsar on February 15. Moreover, a second flight is also expected to land at the same airport on the following day, February 16.

The US took this step while the horrors of the 104 Indians’ deportation were still fresh in the community. On February 5, the illegal Indians were transported on a military aircraft, shackled in chains, which sparked a nationwide outrage.
While the US has the right to throw out anyone who enters their country illegally, some immigrants allege they faced difficulty using washrooms in detention. One Indian student even claimed she was only out on a trip when she was arrested by the authorities and wasn’t even aware she was being deported back to India.

The Indian government said they are in talks with the administration in Washington DC, ensuring fair treatment of its citizens.
This is one of the biggest deportation drives under Donald Trump’s administration but it should be carried out smoothly and in a humane manner.
