The Malayalam film Rekhachithram, starring Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in lead roles and directed by Jofin T. Chacko, was released in theatres on January 9th and received positive responses from both audiences and critics.
Now, Rekhachithram is set to premiere on Sony LIV on March 7th in five languages—Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Asif Ali’s previous film, Kishkindha Kaandam, was a super hit on OTT, gaining nationwide attention and widespread appreciation. Following its success, Asif Ali’s movies have started attracting a significantly larger audience.
With Rekhachithram also being an investigative thriller, much like Kishkindha Kaandam, anticipation for its OTT release has surged after its theatrical success. Many who missed it in theatres are eagerly waiting for its digital premiere.

According to reports, Rekhachithram was made on a modest budget of just ₹8 crore and went on to collect around ₹54 crore worldwide, concluding its theatrical run with blockbuster status.
It remains to be seen whether Rekhachithram will replicate the OTT success of Kishkindha Kaandam when it premieres on Sony LIV on March 7th.
