The Bollywood thriller ‘Jigra’ is available to stream on OTT From 12 midnight, December 6th this year. It was released theatrically in October and was a disaster at box office.
Despite being a failure in the theatrical run, there are good chances for the movie on OTT. Vasan Bala’s execution did not connect to the mass audience that was out there for entertainment in the festive season.

But the OTT audience is different and it puts much trust on Bala. Previously Bala has come with a very successful Netflix project ‘Monica, Oh My Darling!’ His movie ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’ was a theatrical flop too but eventually received cult status among cinephiles.
‘Jigra’ has high hopes on OTT for Alia Bhatt as well as she not only stars in the movie but produces it too. Vasan Bala has never failed to impress his OTT audiences in spite of his bad track record in theatricals.

The movie also marks Vedang Raina’s debut and it has its wonderful music composed by Achint Thakkar. And the style of narrative, the execution and the plot will probably attract a good deal of attention even outside the northern belt.
