Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, is facing a poor reception at the box office. However, many cinema lovers are still eagerly awaiting its OTT release.
Amazon Prime Video is set to stream the film after its theatrical run. However, neither the makers nor the platform have confirmed the exact release date yet.

There are speculations that Game Changer might start streaming on Prime Video within four weeks of its release, bypassing the usual 8-week window. This could be due to the film’s total rejection at the box office.
A similar situation occurred with Indian 2, which had a poor run after its release on July 12, 2024. It was available on Netflix on August 9, just four weeks later, prompting legal action from the Multiplex Association of India.

The association has rules stating that films should have an 8-week window before heading to OTT, and violations can prevent the film from being released in top multiplex chains like PVR Inox and Cinepolis.
Despite agreeing to the 8-week rule, the team behind Indian 2 had its Hindi version streaming on Netflix much earlier than expected.
