Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly (GBU), directed by Adhik Ravichandran, was released in theaters on April 10th and has received mixed responses from both audiences and critics.

Despite the average reception from the audience, GBU has performed exceptionally well at the box office in Tamil Nadu; however, it was a washout in other markets, including the Telugu states.
Then, GBU began streaming on Netflix OTT on May 8th, and now, according to Netflix’s Trending list for this week, it features in the Top 10 Non-English trending movies list worldwide.

Following this, some trade experts commented that while a star film like GBU featuring in the Top 10 Indian movies trending list is quite common, its appearance in the Top 10 Non-English trending worldwide list is a significant achievement and it clearly shows Ajith Kumar’s star power.
Whenever a star hero’s movie starts streaming on OTT platforms, the OTT audience tends to watch it, and this has once again been proven with GBU’s OTT success.

However, even though GBU was a theatrical failure in other states except Tamil Nadu, it is acquiring a huge viewership on the Netflix OTT platform and is heading towards blockbuster success status on OTT.
