Imran Khan is back on screen in a much-anticipated way after nearly a decade with a new Netflix project titled ‘Adhure Hum Adhure Tum’. Starring Danish Aslam, who directed Imran in the 2010 rom-com Break Ke Baad, the film has been described as a dysfunctional romantic dramedy laced with humour, heart, and real-life chaos.
This is a genre that is apt for the light-hearted, quirky roles which made Imran a favourite actor in movies like Jaane Tu. Ya Jaane Na, Delhi Belly, and I Hate Luv Storys.

The film stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead female role, with a special appearance by Gurfateh Pirzada. Production is by Imran Khan and Danish Aslam in collaboration with Open Air Films, a production company that has Netflix titles such as Leila and Cobalt Blue.
Production began in April 2025 in Mumbai, with shooting to wrap up before July, to be released by Netflix India on the platform during early 2026.

While fans are excited about this nostalgic yet fresh entertainer, there is cautious hope that the film will live up to expectations and not disappoint like some recent projects such as Nadaaniyan.
Imran’s return is a fresh but nostalgic return to the light entertainers that defined his early days. Having drifted away from acting after his 2015 film Katti Batti, Imran set off to focus on self-grooming and fatherhood.
