But there was a critical clause: if Kuberaa failed to hit cinemas by June 20, the team would have to return 10 crores to the OTT platform.

That condition sparked a frantic final push from the production house to ensure the film met its deadline.

In recent weeks, post-production ran on overdrive. The team worked round-the-clock to finalize all versions of the film — including Telugu, Tamil, and other dubbed languages — in time for release. Against tight timelines and high stakes, they pulled it off.

Now, with the theatrical release locked and Amazon Prime Video set to begin streaming the film around July 18 four weeks after its theatrical release.

Kuberaa isn’t just a movie anymore — it’s a high-stakes project that had both artistic and financial deadlines to meet.

For the makers, June 20 marks the end of an intense race. For fans, it signals the arrival of a long-awaited film that carries both cinematic promise and behind-the-scenes drama.
