Users of Netflix India have a request for the platform. They want a new feature that will allow them to skip entire songs from movies.

Movies, especially Indian ones, sometimes have songs that have no direct connection to the narrative. And audiences who are busy and want to get on with the film quickly, want to skip them.
But manual skipping does not work as effectively, that is why fans are wanting a feature that skips to the part where the song ends and the movie starts again.

Much like the ‘skip intro’ feature that is available on almost all the platforms, skip song too might prove to be a very helpful tool.
If Netflix introduces this feature, it will be a big deal for audiences and will increase their satisfaction level with the platform as well. There are many users who do not have the time to go through the whole movie. Distracting them with numerous songs that do not contribute to the storyline is not a good idea.

But the platform should also keep the integrity of the movie in mind, so it is better to just add a feature that will allow people to skip the songs when needed.
