Among the titles that were released on OTT this week, few are worth recommending with a ‘must-watch’ note. But there are some good shows and movies that you can check out if you are looking for a way to pass time this weekend.

There are not many titles in the must watch section this week. The Korean TV show ‘Goblin’ is one. A mix of sci-fi and fantasy, the show tells the story of a bride who wants to break a curse.

Good Non-Telugu Shows:

In the category of good non-Telugu TV shows that started streaming this week, there are a lot of international shows. There is the anticipated Marvel show ‘Daredevil: Born Again’. The English drama ‘Deli Boy’ is quite good too. SonyLIV’s historical drama ‘The Waking Of A Nation’ is a wonderfully executed small budget show that you might like if you are fond of period dramas.

Good Non-Telugu Movies:

There are a fair amount of licensed movies that came to stream this week as well. Most of them are from other Indian languages. The Hindi thriller ‘Barah By Barah’ tells the story of a photographer who goes to the Manikarnika Ghat to capture the essence of life and death and finds himself in a strange fix. The Tamil family drama Kudumbasthan deals with the problems a young man faces because of his inter-caste marriage. And Prime Video brought another Panchayat like rural comedy ‘Dupahiya’ which is a good weekend watch too. Smile 2 is a good example of horror if you are a fan of the genre.

Satisfactory Non-Telugu TV Shows:

The Spanish show Medusa is worth a watch if you are fond of the thriller miniseries genre. There are two Korean dramas in the list too. ‘Hide and Seek’ and ‘Just One Look’ are satisfactory watches and you should not miss them if you are a K-drama fan. The reality drama ‘With Love, Meghan’ can be put under this category too.

Satisfactory Non-Telugu Movies:

The Tamil movie ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ is finally streaming on OTT. The Gujarati drama ‘Daitya’ is an unexpected success and it might seem lucrative to some viewers. The Hindi action movies ‘Sky Force’ and ‘Fateh’ did not do that well at the box office but indeed have some good elements and can be good for a one time watch. Rekhachithram tells the story of a thrilling investigation of a forty year old case. The Nepali movie ‘Tara: The Lost Star’ is worth a mention too.

Telugu Titles:




There were not many Telugu titles releasing on OTT this week. Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Thandel’ is a passable watch that tells the story of a fisherman who gets captured by Pakistan in international waters. ‘Manamey’ is another passable romantic movie that tells the story of a young playboy whose life changes when he meets a little boy. The reality show Chef Mantra Project K is a hilarious mix of cooking and comedy and you might like it if you have a knack for cooking.
