Users have been very frustrated with the present content slate of Netflix. The platform is bringing one after another unwatchable stories.
But shows that have potential are being cancelled by Netflix. For example, the show ‘Kaala Pani’ was liked by critics and audiences alike and a second season was thought to be coming soon.

But the show was discontinued due to budget cuts for Netflix India. And we get to see the limited budget was used in making shows like ‘The Royals’.
The expensive set pieces and a loaded star cast could not deliver a memorable experience to the fans. The platform is continuously bringing forgettable stories like this. It has brought ‘Jewel Thief’ and ‘Naadaniyan’ as well.

Meanwhile what audiences want is completely missing. This is very problematic for a platform of stature. Whenever fans are hoping that there will be something different in the originals, their hopes are being shattered by absolutely average and useless stories.
Either Netflix will have to bring back the good originals like Kaala Pani or create some unique and interesting original that will make up for these blunders.
