
Crime-drama Black Warrant recently premiered on Netflix and has received a positive response from critics and audiences. Vikramaditya Motwane has helmed the show along with Satyanshu Singh, and it is adapted from a novel titled Black Warrant: Confessions Of A Tihar Jailer.
The series is produced by Applause Entertainment and the production house has been praised for bringing something unique and different this time.

While social media platforms are flooded with reactions from the general public, popular personalities from the film industry have also expressed their opinion about it.
The list includes actors such as Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Bhumi Pednekar. They said that the show is authentic and the storytelling is flawless due to which audiences never lose their interest.

Apart from them, director Hansal Mehta appreciated the show’s direction alongside Ashwini Iyer Tiwari calling it “pure cinema.” Anurag Kashyap, who has worked with Motwane in Sacred Games, called it the latter’s best work so far in his career.
Anurag said that the series is hard-hitting and features “top notch performances” by all the lead cast members. He also praised the way the makers offered a glimpse of the Indian prison during the period of the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Black Warrant has once again proved that strong content will always receive the best feedback. It seems like the show has a possibility of being remembered as one of the best series ever created over the years.
