When Sky Force starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya was released at the box office there was no hype around it. On top of all that, trolls criticised it for paid PR and seat filling.
Fans didn’t like the performance of Sara Ali Khan as she forced a South Indian accent. Even Veer Pahariya who was making his debut was trolled for his dance moves.

But now that the film has been released on OTT it is getting appreciated. Fans feel that a better VFX budget could have worked wonders for the film but other than that the flow of the film seems natural.
They highlighted that it doesn’t have unnecessary beach songs like Fighter. It treats the topic of nationalism and bravery with respect.

If the film had a better budget it could have been a big screen success too. And many fans are regretting not watching it in the theatres.
It raises questions on the right approach towards a film’s promotion and PR. Had the makers followed the right track it might have pulled more audiences, anyways its appreciation on OTT has gained it a wider demographic.
