Sonakshi Singa and Vijay Varma starrer Dahaad won the hearts of the audiences when it was released in 2023. The eight-episode series, though a bit draggy, had an excellent narrative, and was based on the life of a real-life criminal, Cyanide Mohan.
India couldn’t be more happier when the crime drama was selected to be premiered at the Berlin international film festival. Now, the latest that we know is that the makers of Dahaad have announced its second season. In fact, it is already on the cards!

Even Sonakshi and Gulshan Devaiah have reacted to the news on their respective social media handles regarding the inception of Dahaad.
Now, the question remains – will the second season of the crime drama win the hearts of the audience again? There’s no denying that Sonakshi Sinha gave an excellent performance in the first season. Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah were amazing too.

According to a few, the makers of Dahaad must take cues from Paatal Lok which got an amazing response with its second season. Just like Paatal Lok season 2 was better than season 1, Dahaad must also repeat the same feat.
Today’s audiences want a proper narrative, good storytelling, and piqued interests. So, if Dahaad season 2 meets these expectations, it will definitely be a hit.
