Netflix has unveiled its Kollywood lineup for the year, and the streaming giant appears to have secured some of the most promising Tamil films, exciting fans and industry watchers alike.

The platform has bagged the OTT rights for Ajith Kumar’s highly anticipated Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly.

Joining these big-ticket acquisitions are Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life and Suriya’s Retro, adding more star power to Netflix’s impressive slate.

Suriya’s fans are especially thrilled, as most of his recent films streamed on Amazon Prime Video, which they believe didn’t work out well for him. With Netflix now backing Retro, fans see this as a positive sign for the project.
