The television channel interviewed some witnesses claiming that Salman was indeed spotted with a gun to shoot the deer. However, the witnesses retracted from their testimony and now disclaim their views expressed in the sting operation of the channel.

Salman now wants the channel to destroy the videos and script of the sting operation. He claims it to be defamatory and was fabricated to malign his image and hence demanding Rs. 100 crores. Whereas the channel is saying that it has already removed all the content related to the sting operation on 1998 case.
