The big budget film is in trouble with the CBFC again for not having a definitive disclaimer. A source from the Censor Board said that the filmmakers “unnecessarily complicated [the] case” by not stating clearly whether the film is a work of fiction or is based on historical facts thereby causing further delay.
However, this Deepika Padukone starrer is not the only film that got postponed. Rajinikanth’s upcoming much awaited action flick ‘2.0’ is also following in its footsteps. The movie, which will also feature popular Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, will hit the screens in April 2018 giving ‘Padmavati’ a tough competition if both releases closely. As for ‘Padmavati’, will this much awaited historical drama lose viewers to ‘2.0’?
