The teaser of Sikandar released on December 28, 2024 got 48 million views in 24 hours and broke records. But while the views were massive, the teaser itself didn’t excite the audience as expected. Some felt it was more of an ad than a proper teaser, some scenes didn’t fit in the narrative of the film.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the man who gave us Ghajini and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar has Rashmika Mandanna alongside Salman. While the combination is good, the pressure is to prove that the film can change the trend of Salman’s recent flops.
Salman’s recent films have not connected with the audience, his box office graph has seen a decline. Sikandar can either restore his image or further diminish his star power depending on how it performs.
