A Legend Replacing Legendary Sridevi

After the heartbreaking demise of Sridevi from this world, there had been a vacuum of sorts that was unexplainable. There had been reports that Sridevi accepted to do Karan Johar’s production venture ‘Shiddat’ alongside Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.

Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor announced on Twitter that legendary actress Madhuri Dixit replaced the legendary Sridevi in Karan Johar’s upcoming venture. She also mentioned that Jhanvi, Kushi and Boney Kapoor were extremely thankful to Madhuri for replacing Sridevi to play a beautiful role.

It’s now official, then. Madhuri Dixit can be the only actress who can replace Sridevi to play a role especially etched for the late actress. Ironically, it was Madhuri Dixit who replaced Sridevi and took over her number one position with back-to-back blockbusters, back then.
