Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar went through a terrible accident recently while shooting for their upcoming film. They were shooting a dance sequence for ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ directed by Mudassar Aziz and the ceiling collapsed on them.
Arjun, Bhumi, Mudassar Aziz and the producer Jacky Bhagnani were all present there at the moment and they escaped narrowly from the incident.
The choreographer for the film, Vijay Ganguly has said, “We were on the monitor when suddenly the ceiling. Luckily, it fell in parts, and we had a trough to protect us. Had the entire ceiling fallen on us, it could have been disastrous, but many people still got hurt.”
The shooting was going on in the Imperial Palace in Royal Palms of Goregaon. Some crew members were hurt but it was not very serious. It could have been a lot worse. The incident has left the film fraternity worrying.
But netizens have a very different view on the subject. Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar are known as ‘flop actors’ and Jacky Bhagnani too has had a decent share of disasters both in acting and production. People are saying that the accident is a sign that they should stop doing this film. The movie being shelved is still better than distributors running out of money for funding a sure-shot flop film.
