As Imran Khan celebrates his 42nd birthday, fans recall how he was slapped 20 times by Katrina Kaif. It happened during the shoot of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, where for a scene he had to be slapped by Katrina.
Initially, they were going with a fake slap but to bring more authenticity, Imran himself suggested that Katrina slap him for real. They ended up taking around 20 takes of the scene and it was really painful for him.
Katrina funnily recounted in an interview that Imran was pleading by the end that he can’t take anymore slaps. This goes to show Imran’s dedication for his role.
He started appearing in films as a child actor in movies like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. And later debuted with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na which has become a niche favourite.
He gave some great rom-coms in his career like I hate Luv Story, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. He even had some minor yet versatile roles that were loved by fans.
Now he maintains a distance from the limelight but fans really want him to return to the screens.
