Actress, Sr. Actor’s Wife Molested in Theater!

While there are frequent cases reported on public molestation of women, an incident of senior actor molested in a theater has seen light recently. Priya Berde, the Marathi actress has been molested by a man seated beside her in the theater. First, he started to annoy her and then got to molestation, also assault as the actress reports.

The incident took place in a Mumbai theater where the actress went to watch a movie with her daughters. The 49-year-old actress reacted quickly and called onto the theater security personnel who held the molester. Priya then lodged a complaint with Mumbai police who arrested the accused.

Police reported that the man was drunk and was misbehaving with the actress since they have been seated. Priya Berde is the widow of Laxmikant Berde who was also a well-known actor of Marathi films. Priya Berde has been seen in a small role in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.
