Audiences have been craving for an entertaining masala film this year and the trailer of Singham Again has indicated to offer the same. The film is arriving on the big screen on Diwali.
The film’s success is important considering the reputation of the Cop Universe over the years alongside the career graph of Ajay Devgn after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite having the potential to offer a blockbuster, a few of Ajay’s films with good content have also been rejected by the audience for unknown reasons. His last film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, also had a similar fate.
The upcoming action drama has been reportedly made on a budget of Rs. 250 crores. This means that the film must surpass the overall money invested in the entire project.
In case the film touches the mark of Rs. 390 crores, it will help Ajay to grab a spot in the list of actors who have collected Rs. 1000 crores.
It is a figure that was started by Shah Rukh Khan last year with the success of Pathaan and Jawan. Other well-known faces are also slowly joining in, including Prabhas, Ranbir Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan.
Following the pandemic, seven films of Ajay have been released on the big screen and only Drishyam 2 and Shaitaan emerged as hits at the box office. Although the collections of the remaining films were not up to the mark, the overall figure sums up to Rs. 609 crores.
Singham Again has already created a lot of buzz with its glimpses alongside the reported cameo of Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey. However, the fate will be decided only after its release, which is only a few days away.
