Yash Raj Films has just revealed the title and release date of its upcoming romantic drama Saiyaara, which will mark the debut of Ahaan Panday. The film is being helmed by director Mohit Suri.
Ahaan, who happens to be the cousin of Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, will be seen sharing the screen with Aneet Padda in the film.
The young actress was seen in the Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry and was praised for her work.
Touted as an ‘intense love story’, Saiyaara marks the first-ever collaboration between director Mohit Suri and Yash Raj Films.
Suri is best known for his work on films like Kalyug, Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, and several others. The highly acclaimed filmmaker might have something to watch out for with two new actors.
Saiyaara is set to hit theatres worldwide on July 18, 2025. The film marks the first production venture of YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, with veteran producer Aditya Chopra presenting the project.
As it is a risky bet for Mohit Suri to launch two new faces, it is worth noting that decent films are also not working at the box office currently and are underwhelming in terms of box office collections.
It remains to be seen if the film will be able to become a decent start for Ahaan Panday in his Bollywood journey ahead.
