Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, has so far stayed away from acting. He’s stepping into the world of direction with his upcoming Netflix series The Ba\*\*ds of Bollywood.
But fans still want to see him on screen.
Today, Ahaan Panday nephew of Chunky Pandey made his acting debut with Saiyaara. The buzz was moderate at first. Industry insiders didn’t expect a big start. Some even said ₹5 crore on opening day would be tough.
But the film shocked everyone.
Saiyaara is running houseful across cities. Social media is flooded with reactions. Theatres are witnessing crowd rush. Now, estimates say the film could cross ₹20 crore on Day 1 itself.
That’s huge.
This has led fans to draw comparisons. If Ahaan Panday with no superstar lineage can generate this craze, imagine what Aryan Khan could do.
Aryan has everything going for him sharp looks, strong screen presence, and of course, the legacy of SRK. He already has a fan base without even stepping in front of the camera.
Many are now urging Shah Rukh to convince Aryan to act. Even if it’s just two or three films, they believe he could become a sensation.
Not everyone needs to do 30 films. Some stars make their mark in just a few. Aryan has that potential.
While his interest lies in direction, there’s room for both. Many filmmakers have successfully balanced acting and directing.
The timing feels right. With Gen-Z faces rising, fans want a mix of freshness and legacy.
Aryan’s debut could be more than a film it could be a cultural moment. The audience is ready. The industry is ready. Now it’s up to him.
Will he take the spotlight? Only time will tell.
