The much-awaited trailer of Raid 2 is now out, featuring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vaani Kapoor in prominent roles.
It once again features Ajay Devgn as IRS Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Amay Patnaik, who is on the hunt for black money.
The trailer showcases how Amay Patnaik is ready for his 75th raid, and this time he has a search warrant against Dada Bhai, played by Riteish Deshmukh, who is a powerful politician.
It once again shows how Patnaik and his team take over the politician’s house in search of black money, with the original “Black” song playing in the background.
Vaani Kapoor plays the role of Ajay Devgn’s wife, and the couple also have a daughter, as shown in the trailer. Ileana played Ajay’s wife in the first part and now Vaani Kapoor has replaced her. Vaani looks no match to Ileana and that seems a disappointment.
Featuring a dance number by Tamannaah Bhatia, the film aims to deliver suspense, thrill, and a bit of drama with its compelling plot.
While Amay Patnaik finds it difficult to uncover any black money in the politician’s home, the main question arises: will he be able to successfully conduct his 75th raid or not?
It all comes down to May 1, as Raid 2 hits theaters, aiming to have a decent start just like the first installment. Anything under 10 crores on the first day would be considered underwhelming.
