Akshay Kumar in Chhaava: Golden Chance Missed?

Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava was undoubtedly a great film to watch and fans loved the film with its collection nearing 60 crores after two days.

While viewers think that the film might have been even better with better screenplay and performances, many think that a dedicated cameo would have elevated the film.

Akshay Kumar and Maddock Films have been on good terms and it can be seen with Akshay’s previous ventures with the production banner.

Whether it was his recently released Sky Force or his special appearance in Stree 2, it seems that the actor has good ties with the production company.

Given that relationship, fans pointed out that Chhaava would have been a spectacle to watch if the makers had tried to get Akshay Kumar on board for the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The glimpses of his portrayal were seen in an unreleased Marathi film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle which is now getting viral on the internet.

The unreleased film was supposed to be Akshay Kumar’s Marathi film debut and had a cameo appearance as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the film.

While the film hasn’t been released for the past two years, fans wanted Akshay to portray the same character in Chhaava to make the film more impactful.

However, fans await the release of the much-awaited Marathi project of Akshay Kumar and as for Chhaava, it is picking up pace at the box office and aims for a captivating weekend ahead.
