Akshay Sells Home for 80 Cr: 13 Disasters Effect?

Akshay Kumar has always been one of the most reliable stars in Bollywood, churning out multiple films a year and delivering box office hits with ease.

But the last few years haven’t been kind to him. From “Bachchan Paandey” and “Samrat Prithviraj” to “Selfiee” and “Mission Ranigunj,” his films have struggled to make an impact at the box office.

Even “Sky Force,” which had a solid opening, did not sustain itself, and now trade analysts label it another disaster.

The stress seems to increase, and sale of his costly Worli flat for a handsome Rs 80 crores heightens the buzz. Was this a routine investment or a clear indication that the string of flops is affecting his finances?

It is tough to put finger exactly on which is stopping him from working. Is it the over-saturation releases? Scripts? The changing preferences of audiences? Whatever it is, Akshay readily needs a good comeback.

He has done it before by bouncing back with movies such as “Sooryavanshi.” That is not something impossible. However, Bollywood is taking a quick turn, and if he wants to remain at the top, he might do something different.

What do you think—can Akshay reclaim his box office dominance, or is this the beginning of a long decline?
