It is very rare to see the kind of sense of humor actress turned author Twinkle Khanna has. For those Telugu audiences who don’t know her, she was a Bollywood actress who married star hero Akshay Kumar. In a recent column she wrote for a popular English tabloid, Twinkle’s sense of humor is going to blow your mind.

Her satire was on the Supreme Court’s order directing the theaters to play our National Anthem before the start of a film. She self-proclaimed that she is a hardcore patriot who sings National anthem and shouts slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Hind’ loud to prove her patriotism to those who measure it by the volume of our voice.

Coming to singing the anthem in cinema theaters, the actress questions hilariously asking how could she sing the National Anthem with patriotism when she knows that she is going to watch a film like ‘Befikre’ in which Ranveer will be seen sporting tight red underwear? She has got a point, hasn’t she? When our mind is focused on the film’s content, it’s hard to tune mind turning a patriot.
