Alia Bhatt’s Biggest Film: All Depends on NTR

Alpha starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari is going to release this year-end but there is no significant hype around it. It is one amongst the YRF Spy Universe films that include Tiger, Pathan and War franchise – some feel the low hype is because of an all female lead.

But hype around Alia’s Raazi was significant even with a female lead, maybe because it was still a realistic spy thriller which opened to 8 crore despite a lower budget. Fans feel Alpha with its big budget has more of the mass theatrics, so anything below 25 crore opening will be devastating for its box office.

It clearly shows that audiences are drawn towards authentic storytelling. Many believe that the real test of this film universe will be War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.

If that film fails to appease the masses Alpha can expect to end in disaster even before its release. The makers are reported to engage audiences by bringing big star cameos of Hrithik and SRK, but fans are not sure if they will work as they failed badly in Tiger 3.

However, in a recent press event Alia called her role in Alpha one of her best. Only time will tell if she will stand the test of fan’s expectations with this one.
