Alia Gets Insecure: Desperate for 500 Crore Film

Alia Bhatt had high hopes with Vasan Bala’s Jigra. Even Dharma Productions put their life and soul in marketing it to extreme ends, yet the film performed badly becoming one of her all time lows.

Now Alia is in hopes of reviving her career trajectory with the new reassured formula of success. Horror-comedy in the last year became a big audience puller giving the year’s biggest hit with 500 crores plus, it was Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor.

Alia was seen at Maddock’s office probably discussing her next project with them. Dinesh Vijan is speculated to onboard her for Chamunda which will be finally announced in 2025.

Many actresses including Rashmika Mandanna, Kiara Advani, Janhvi Kapoor and now Alia Bhatt are joining in Shraddha’s footsteps. But just starring in a horror-comedy is not enough to create a magic spell on screens.

The vision of Stree franchise is quite strong and it dwells on the small town comedy appeal that delivers well amongst Indian fans. Alia’s project could tie up closely with the universe and be linked to franchises like Stree and Bhediya.
