Dangal released on a regular weekend with Christmas falling on Sunday has amassed a stunning 107 Cr. It beat the previous best created by Sultan. In the process it has also recorded highest single day collections ever in Bollywood. It was a 40 Cr Sunday.

This number is special because it has been achieved under extraordinary circumstances like demonetization. The early trends on Monday also look amazing pointing at a historic run ahead.
