Ameesha Patel Puts Bollywood’s Big Entourages Under the Lens

Ameesha Patel has taken a dig at the growing entourage culture in Bollywood, particularly questioning the money spent on teams accompanying female actors during film promotions.

During an Ask Me Anything session on X, Ameesha was asked about stars bringing additional entourage members at a producer’s expense. Responding to the question, she claimed that the promotional entourages of some female actors can cost more than their films’ first-day box office collections. She also questioned whether the same stars would maintain such large teams if they had to pay for them personally.

Ameesha Patel did not name any actress in her post. Her comments, however, have drawn attention because they touch on the growing costs associated with celebrity promotions and the teams that travel with stars.

The actress also spoke about her own approach to choosing films during the same interaction. She said she would rather wait for a major project than be part of films released with discount pricing or what she described as filler projects.
