Bollywood Megastar Escaped Accident, Narrowly

Crores of megastar’s fans across the country must have heaved a sigh of relief when they came to know that Amitabh Bachchan narrowly escaped from car accident in Kolkata when he was going to the airport to catch the flight to Mumbai.

Amitabh Bachchan was in Kolkata for the inaugural programme of 23rd Kolkata International Film Festival. He was invited by the State Government of Kolkata and hence, the State Government has deployed a travel agency to provide a vehicle for transporting the megastar.

This incident happened on Saturday morning and the State Government officials are investigating if the recklessness of the travel agency was responsible for the accident. The wheel on the left rear-end of the car that was carrying Bachchan got detached from the car.

Amitabh Bachchan was immediately moved to another vehicle which was part of the Minister’s convoy who was travelling with the megastar. Thank God! He is safe and sound and celebrating his granddaughter’s birthday.
