Megastar in Hillary Clinton’s Leaked Emails

The elections for the US President this year is turning out to be one of the most popular ones so far. Ever since the Wikileaks made many of the emails of the Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton public, things have become tough for the seasoned political personality.

With the whole world deeply scrutinizing the exposed emails for something of relevance, Jose A. DelReal of The Washington Post has finally struck gold on something that would interest the Indian population. In one of her leaked email chains from 2011, Clinton who was the Secretary of the State at the time has been observed asking Huma Abedin, vice chair-woman of her presidential campaign regarding a ‘famous older Indian actor’ whom she met a few years ago. Huma has then responded by saying Amitabh Bachchan.

People in India have had a mixed reaction to this incident. While some are taking offence over the assumed slight on the Superstar, others feel that Clinton might be referring to Aamir Khan instead since the senior Bachchan has never shared a public stage with the Presidential candidate.
