Legend Under Fire For Lack Of Reply In Controversy

Bollywood Legend Amitabh Bachchan is under fire. The legendary star attended a press meet for the promotion of his upcoming release, and a question asked there is the reason for the anger from social media.

Amitabh Bachchan along with co-actor Rishi Kapoor was involved in a press conference when a journalist asked the senior star about his views on the recent gruesome Kathua rape issue. Big B avoided the answer, by saying that it feels disgusting to talk about that and that the issue shouldn’t be brought up.

What made matters worse is the fact that Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador of “Beti Padhao Beti Bachao” campaign of the Government. He had also spoken at length about the rapes when his film Pink was about to release. The whole scenario makes him come across as a hypocrite and opportunistic is what many feels. What do you think?
