Crafted by internationally acclaimed watch brand Jacob & Co., the custom-made watch is called Opera Vantara. The exclusive timepiece carries a staggering price tag of Rs 13.7 crore.
The watch is inspired by Anant Ambani’s wildlife rescue and conservation project Vantara. It features a bold green camouflage dial, 397 precious gemstones, and an exotic alligator leather strap.
At the centre of the dial is a miniaturised Anant Ambani figure. Surrounding him are miniature animals including a white tiger, a lion, and an elephant, adding to the dramatic visual appeal.
Social media users were stunned by the sheer cost and detailing of the watch. Many described it as an example of extreme wealth, while others admired the craftsmanship and creativity behind the design.
Anant Ambani has previously been spotted wearing multiple luxury watches at public events. Each timepiece carried premium features and hefty price tags, but this one stands out for its exclusivity.
However, animal welfare enthusiasts questioned the eco-conscious message. They pointed out the irony of using an alligator leather strap on a conservation-themed watch.
